about me
I’m a child of West Indian culture and that by default makes me a bit of a Jane of all trades. A Saint Louis University graduate, I have a Bachelors in Business & Psychology. I went on to gain over 5 years of experience in the events industry working for ninePBS in Saint Louis planning and executing over 100 events a year that ranged from conferences to tasting events across the country. In 2020, I took up the passion project of becoming a chef by obtaining a Certificate in Professional Cookery and AAS in Baking and Pastry from Kendall College. In the meantime, I continued to plan weddings and events for friends and family. In 2022, I returned to the events world and began planning weddings full time, my ultimate dream job!
Currently, I am the Director of Planning at Walden Chicago, a beautiful, all inclusive venue in West Town. We provide full service wedding planning in addition to our top notch culinary and bar programs, all housed in a stunning, industrial space.
I am an alumnus of the Kappa Omega chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha and a Certified Journey Baker with the Retail Bakers of America.
My goal? To be a one stop shop for all your needs. I have the fortune of knowing a bit about everything, but being absolutely and fully committed to everything I do. I’m a passionate wedding planner, I’m a trained chef, and I guess I might be able to provide a little (or a lot) of moral support along the way. I can’t wait to hear from you!
